How to Paste SSL Certificate Information

When pasting the text content of a file:

  1. Paste the entire content (for example) from -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- to -----END CERTIFICATE----- for the certificate file

  2. And (for example) from -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- to -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- (for example) for the private key file.

The sample screen capture for this step shows what this will look like.

When you have pasted the content, click on the Create button to create the new certificate in CacheFly.

SSL Certificate Status and Information

SSL certificates are listed in the Certificates screen (Configuration > Certificates).

When you create a new certificate by importing .pem files or pasting .pem file text content into CacheFly, the list is updated with information on the certificate, including its SERIAL NUMBER, VALID FROM/EXPIRY DATE, STATUS, and any SERVICES USING THIS CERTIFICATE.

When one or more services are using the certificate, the status of the certificate will be displayed as IN USE.
