Enabling ProtectServe for a Service
To enable or disable ProtectServe for a service, first navigate to that service (Configuration > Services > [SERVICE NAME]).
On the left of the screen, click on OPTIONS to expand the list of options available.
Click on ProtectServe in the list of OPTIONS for the service or scroll down to display the ProtectServe section.
If the ProtectServe button/toggle is gray and shows Disabled, click the button/toggle to enable ProtectServe (the button/toggle then turns blue and shows Enabled).
If the ProtectServe button/toggle is blue and shows Enabled, click the button/toggle to disable ProtectServe (the button/toggle then turns gray and shows Disabled).

Displaying a ProtectServe Key
To display the ProtectServe Key for a given service, first navigate to the ProtectServe section for that service (Configuration > Services > [SERVICE NAME] > OPTIONS > ProtectServe).
When ProtectServe is enabled, the current ProtectServe key will be displayed as an ASCII character string within the ProtectServe section onscreen.
You can hide the ASCII character string by clicking on the Hide link
Click on the Reveal link after to reveal the ASCII character string again.
ProtectServe Key Editing and API Call
When ProtectServe is enabled for a service, you can also generate a new ProtectServe key.
Click the Edit button
A new set of buttons appears, including the Regenerate button
Click the Regenerate button to obtain a new ProtectServe key automatically or to manually enter your new version in the ProtectServe key field
Click the Save button
A popup window appears asking you to confirm your choice
By clicking on the red button Yes, the new ProtectServe key will be registered (so, update your applications, etc. to the new version of the key).
